All kite flyers with current liability insurance now welcome!

See membership form for details

The club was formed in 2004 to preserve access to the beach for kite flying. We do this by building and maintaining progressive relationships with local land owners and local authorities.  As a club we function as a single voice and point of contact for the wider community.

As individuals, powerkiters have lost rights of access to sites throughout the UK. WWKC's remit is to prevent this happening in North Devon and preserve access to the South West's premier powerkiting venue.

Where does my membership money go?

WWKC is a not for profit club.  All money raised through membership fees goes into paying for the administration of the club and the hosting of this web site.  If there's any left we organise and run an annual flyin.  In time we hope to raise enough funds for club equipment to further support these events, club members and new comers alike.

There is a small fee to pay for club membership in addition to the insurance fee.  The committee voted to reduce the fee to an all time low of £5 per annum.  No individual profits from any of the money raised by the club - it's in our constitution!

As a member you also get access to member only services through the web site.

How do I join?

Fill in the form and post it to the address found at the bottom along with your cheque for £5 per flyer.
